Privacy policy

The apps collect nothing.

This policy covers the openrz67 apps for iOS and Android. Last updated 26 September 2026.

What the apps do with your data

Nothing. The apps have no accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking or third-party SDKs, and they do not connect to the internet. No personal data is collected, stored or shared, by us or anyone else.

Bluetooth

The apps ask for Bluetooth access for one purpose: to find the openrz67 trigger and send it shutter commands. The commands go straight from your phone to the trigger over Bluetooth Low Energy and are not stored or sent anywhere else. The Android app declares that it does not use Bluetooth to determine your location.

Crash reports

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your phone's settings, Apple or Google may pass anonymous crash reports to us. They contain technical details about the crash, not personal information, and you can turn this off in the system settings at any time.

Children

Since no data is collected, the apps collect none from children either.

Changes

If this ever changes, this page is updated before a new version of an app ships. Its history is public in the site repository.
